Mindful Walkway Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time position involves providing remote support within school settings, focusing primarily on early intervention services for young children and their families. The position offers an annual salary of USD 75,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be remote, providing you with the flexibility to connect with families, colleagues, and children from various locations in Long Beach, California, and surrounding areas. You will engage with families primarily through virtual sessions, while also having opportunities to participate in collaborative meetings with educators, therapists, and support staff. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your essential functions will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs and establish individualized support plans.
• Actively participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) to ensure tailored services meet each child's unique needs.
• Monitoring and documenting progress against established outcomes, ensuring a data-driven approach to service delivery.
• Developing strong rapport and trust with children and families, providing emotional and behavioral support throughout the intervention process.
• Administering evaluations using standardized tools and methodologies to inform treatment strategies and adjustments.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance a holistic approach to child development and family support.
• Educating families on strategies to promote their child’s developmental milestones using evidence-based practices and principles of Natural Learning Environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations and maintaining the highest standards of ethical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on infants and toddlers who may have disabilities or developmental delays. Through our Children’s Services program, you will provide early intervention support to these young clients and their families, helping them navigate challenges and foster growth and resilience in supportive, inclusive settings.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, certified by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license for possible travel to community events and meetings.
• Demonstrated adaptability to various learning styles to accommodate each child’s individualized treatment plan.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, emphasizing learning through everyday interactions.
• Bilingual skills are encouraged to enhance communication with diverse families.

Compensation and Benefits
