Key Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic and effective support to clients, ensuring that compassionate care is at the forefront of all interactions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' needs, followed by developing detailed and individualized treatment plans that address specific behavioral health challenges.
• Design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based behavioral interventions that promote positive outcomes for children and families.
• Utilize crisis intervention strategies when immediate support is required, helping clients navigate acute situations with professionalism and care.
• Document and maintain accurate and timely records concerning each client's progress, treatment plans, and any pertinent communications.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with a diverse range of professionals to address the holistic needs of clients, ensuring a coordinated approach to their behavioral health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele primarily includes children and families grappling with various behavioral health issues, particularly developmental disabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of their unique challenges and the ability to apply tailored therapeutic approaches to facilitate their growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is mandatory.
• Possession of a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation within California.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in working with children, families, and individuals who have developmental disabilities or mental health concerns.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis management techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients, families, and allied professionals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
