Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Wed: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Thur: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Fri: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Sat: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, following post orders and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Support daily operations by assisting with directions, maintaining a visible presence, and completing required reports, logs, and other assigned security‑related duties. Minimum Requirements: Hospital vaccination requirements must be met. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
