Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Control Agent in North Bergen, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or unauthorized access. Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support site access protocols and reporting concerns to appropriate contacts. Observe logistics and distribution operations for security-related issues such as damaged gates, unsecured doors, and/or restricted area concerns, and report findings according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
