Job Description

Genstone Insurance is seeking a motivated, licensed Commercial Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team. Genstone provides agents with a steady flow of leads and sales opportunities from our existing portfolio, allowing you to focus on building client relationships, quoting commercial insurance, following up on opportunities, and closing business.

We are looking for sales-driven insurance professionals who can manage a strong pipeline, create urgency with prospects, and build lasting client relationships.

Compensation:

Base salary of $48,000, plus uncapped earning potential through commissions and business development incentives. Agents with an established book of business and proven production may earn total annual compensation exceeding $100,000+ , depending on portfolio size, business volume, renewals, and overall sales performance. Top performers may also qualify for the annual President's Club trip.

Qualified candidates hired for this position in the Farmers Branch, TX and Tampa, FL locations will be hybrid and are eligible for a $5,000 hiring bonus , paid in five equal installments over the first five months of employment.

Core Functions and Responsibilities:

• Achieve individual sales targets and agency production requirements through proactive sales initiatives, including outbound phone calls using a dialing system and employing other proactive sales methods.
\n
• Leverage company-provided referral sources and CRM tools to identify, prioritize and convert qualified prospects; consistently manage lead follow-up and pipeline activity to meet or exceed monthly new-business production goals while building a robust, profitable book of business that generates future renewal revenue.
\n
• Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients and referral partners by serving as a responsive point of contact for future insurance needs, including new-business opportunities, policy adjustments and coverage updates.
\n
• Conduct consultative, needs-defining conversations to uncover each prospect’s household risks, coverage gaps and insurance objectives; recommend and cross-sell appropriate products to maximize account value while delivering a client-focused experience that creates opportunities to earn referrals.
\n
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of insurance underwriting guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, adhering to the highest professional ethics and complying with all Department of Insurance compliance policies and requirements.

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify business opportunities, continually learn about new insurance programs and product/guideline updates and participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales skills and compliance with insurance regulations.

• Coordinate with underwriters and other internal stakeholders to expedite policy issuance, endorsements and amendments for clients, and process requests for policy endorsements and amendments as requested.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, sales activities and communication logs within the company's CRM system, while effectively utilizing the lead management system to track and manage leads provided on a daily basis.

• Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of organizational objectives.
\n
• Maintain broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organization.
\n
• Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices. Successfully complete all department and company required training.
\n
• Model Fay’s Values, Operating Principles, ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conduct.
\n

Qualifications Required:

\n
• Must possess an active General Lines Property & Casualty Producer License to sell commercial insurance in home state, with a willingness to acquire additional state licenses as needed
\n
• 2+ years’ experience in Insurance Sales
\n
• 2+ years’ outbound call center experience in Customer Service
\n
• Experience selling insurance to landlords, renters, business owners, investors, Multi-Family Apartments & Condos, Flood preferred
\n
• Active network of investor customers/ brokers a plus
\n
• Knowledge of business structures like LLC, LP, SP, and others
\n
• Knowledge of state-specific insurance requirements
