Licensed Veterinary Technician - Internal Medicine

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Licensed Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician to join their fast‑paced Internal Medicine department in Town Center, VA. Candidate Requirements: Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience. Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. Join our dynamic veterinary team as we expand our practice to offer cutting‑edge internal medicine services. We look for a passionate and skilled veterinary technician to deliver comprehensive care for patients with complex medical conditions. Responsibilities Set up constant rate infusions (CRI). Calculate all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc.). Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia. Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures. Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway), and clean and maintain equipment following procedure. Discharge IM patients from the hospital, including basic client education such as insulin injection, SQ fluid, and feeding tube demonstrations. Additional job duties as assigned.
