The Territory Sales Representative plays a vital role in expanding our customer base by focusing on new customer acquisition within a designated geographical area. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this position involves managing accounts, generating leads, and promoting products while building strong customer relationships. Minimal travel is required, and proficiency with CRM software is essential to track sales activities and forecasts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture existing customer accounts
- Generate and qualify new sales leads
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports
- Provide responsive customer support
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals
- Promote products effectively within the territory
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Prepare and present quotations to prospective clients
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in territory management
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Ability to forecast sales accurately
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive product knowledge
- Strong presentation skills
