Role Description

The Wet Process Equipment Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose, CA. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for wet bench and wet process equipment solutions within semiconductor and high-technology markets. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotations, and conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations. The manager collaborates closely with engineering and production teams to translate customer requirements into viable solutions and ensure smooth project execution. Additional responsibilities include building long-term client relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and providing feedback to support product improvement and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and account management.
• Experience in technical solution selling, ideally related to semiconductor manufacturing equipment, wet process systems, or industrial capital equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret customer specifications and support system integration.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for engaging with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, wet chemistry applications, or related high-technology environments is highly beneficial.
• Proven capability in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and managing complex sales cycles.
• Comfort with on-site customer visits, occasional travel, and working in a manufacturing and lab environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize priorities, and meet sales and growth targets.
