Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse (RN) at GARDEN VALLEY RETIREMENT VILLAGE in Garden City, KS. The role involves providing direct patient care, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams to create and follow care plans, monitoring and reporting patient progress, and ensuring that all treatments and interventions comply with established protocols and regulatory guidelines. The Registered Nurse will also educate patients and their families about health conditions, promote well-being, and maintain accurate documentation of care provided. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and implementing care plans Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, patients, and families Knowledge of healthcare protocols, regulations, and best practices Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining thorough documentation Ability to respond to emergencies and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring) Experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting is a plus A commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care #J-18808-Ljbffr
