Housekeeper PositionThe Sheraton Hotel of Eatontown is seeking candidates for the position of Housekeeper to join our award-winning team.The Sheraton Hotel of Eatontown is part of the Hotels Unlimited family of hotels. We understand that small acts of thoughtfulness make all the difference in creating an extraordinary hospitality experience.The role of Housekeeper is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests while maintaining company standards. The Housekeeper is responsible for various cleaning duties such as replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, vacuuming, making beds, etc.RequirementsProvide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging the room after guests check outKeep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidyObserve precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisorsEnsure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standardsCollect and remove trash and debrisPerform detailed deep cleans when requiredMove and arrange furniture and turn mattressesReplenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom itemsClean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are metCompensation and Benefits include:This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $15.92 to $16.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.Part time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified)Full time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified)Job Qualifications & SkillsAble to stand, squat, kneel, bend and be on their feet for long periods of timeAble to lift no less than 20lbs and push/pull no less than 50lbsPrevious experience in housekeeping is preferredAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent organization and time management skillsKnowledge of efficient cleaning techniques and specialized productsExcellent Communication skillsMust be willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends, and holidays
