Regional HVAC Safety Manager - South Florida

A leading mechanical contractor is seeking a Regional HVAC Safety Manager to oversee safety across its South Florida operations. This role will lead site Safety Managers, strengthen field safety performance, and take ownership of incident response and claims management.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead and support Safety Managers across multiple projects
\n
• Oversee workers’ compensation claims, incident investigations, and return-to-work coordination
\n
• Coordinate with HR, insurance carriers, and project leadership on claims and corrective actions
\n
• Conduct site audits and enforce company safety standards
\n
• Oversee safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
\n
• Partner with operations and field leadership to improve safety performance
\n
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and maintain accurate safety records
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Construction safety leadership experience, ideally within HVAC or mechanical contracting
\n
• Strong experience handling workers’ compensation claims and incident investigations
\n
• Proven ability to manage Safety Managers across multiple jobsites
\n
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and related construction hazards
\n
• OHSA- CSP, CHST, 500, 510, 30 certifications preferred
\n
• Strong communication, leadership, and field presence
\n
• Ability to travel throughout South Florida
