Tracking, Tagging, and Location Staff Officer II

The Tracking, Tagging, and Location (TTL) Staff Officer II will support the Special Programs Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)). This role involves providing oversight, developing policy, and ensuring compliance for TTL activities within the Department of War. Job Responsibilities Assist leadership in conducting oversight and governance, including staff assistance visits and compliance inspections, for DoW TTL activities. Ensure adherence to DoW standards and best practices in all TTL‑related activities. Develop and coordinate staff packages that include time‑sensitive requirements for leadership to enable DoW TTL activities. Support the development, review, revision, and oversight of strategy, policy, and legislation related to TTL operations. Prepare briefings, talking points, and recommended positions for meetings. Produce and disseminate reports and briefings that detail DoW TTL activities and investments for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials. Provide analysis of TTL‑related activities against the National War Strategy and the priorities of the Secretary of War and USW(I&S). Conduct research and develop policy recommendations to support the Secretary of War, USW(I&S), and other senior officials for decisions involving TTL requirements. * This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth. Minimum Qualifications Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance. Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum of 3 years of experience with policy development, officer related to DoW Tagging, Tracking, and Location activities.
