Warehouse Technician

Job Description Job Description Job Description The Flooring Materials Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting warehouse operations related to flooring products, including tile, wood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, and installation materials. This role involves receiving, storing, staging, pulling, and loading materials to support timely and accurate installation for residential and commercial projects. Essential Functions Receive incoming flooring materials and verify product counts against packing slips or purchase orders Safely load and unload flooring materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment Pull and stage flooring orders according to installation schedules and job requirements Maintain proper inventory levels and rotate stock to prevent product damage or aging Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move or store flooring products Handle heavy materials such as tile, carpet rolls, and hardwood bundles with care to avoid damage Ensure all materials are properly labeled, wrapped, and protected for delivery or storage Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring flooring materials are stored by type and project Follow safety protocols and report any potential hazards or issues to warehouse leadership May assist drivers or field crews with loading flooring materials for delivery Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous experience handling flooring or building materials Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment Ability to lift heavy products (up to 75 lbs) and work in a physical, fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of different flooring types and materials Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or handheld scanners a plus Company Description We are the leading national installer for select high-value and stylistically important interior finishes, such as flooring, cabinets and countertops, to our homebuilder customers, )single family, multi-family, commercial and repair & remodel customers.
