JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Receiving Clerk in Ladson .


Responsibilities of a Receiving Clerk includes :

• Control flow of inbound receiving and move incoming shipments safely and efficiently.

• Check truck drivers in and out in a timely manner and assign doors as applicable.

• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery operations.

• Perform quality inspection on incoming products to ensure that they meet customer requirements.

• Coordinate Lumpers and forklift operators to unload the trucks.

• Communicate status of receiving activities.

• Print receiving labels, accurately enter data and perform administrative duties as applicable.

• Works with Production Planner with exchange of information.

• Conduct regular physical inventory audits of product to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance.

• Provide team oversight of container off-loading.
• Cycle counts and labelling trucks.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse floor.

• Required to perform other duties as assigned to support the Daye team.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a warehouse setting (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, data entry, etc.
• ERP/ WMS experience (preferred).
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities and on-going improvement projects.
• Able to lift at least fifty pounds, physically able to move products and perform tasks that may require prolonged standing.
• Must be a team player who is flexible with the daily duties in a fast-paced team environment
