Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care in a busy women's health unit, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, utilizing advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage deliveries, including active labor, preterm, and uncomplicated term pregnancies.
• Document patient care, procedures, and medication administration accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Support patients through postpartum and neonatal procedures, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Registered Nurse license.
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery experience.
• Ability to work independently in emergency situations.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to handle 12-hour night shifts.
• Basic knowledge of Cerner EMR.
• Successful completion of hospital orientation and pre-employment screenings.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel nursing experience.
