Registered Nurse – Contract/Travel – Clinical Setting

Provide psychiatric and acute care in a hospital setting for a 13-week assignment in Sacramento, California, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric and acute care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including psychosocial assessments and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner charting system, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment updates.
• Execute emergency procedures and respond effectively to patient crises, including involuntary evaluations and 5150 holds.
• Support unit operations by floating to different departments as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care across various units.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license
• BLS Certification
• CA Dignity Experience
• 5150 Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Proven experience in psychiatric or acute care settings
• Ability to work varied shifts
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to float across units
• Physical ability to stand for long periods

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel or hospital experience
