Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position supporting general and GYN surgical cases.

Work in a hospital operating room

General and GYN surgical case population

Days schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Call requirement of one shift per week and one weekend per 6 weeks

Minimum of 3 years of general and GYN scrub tech experience

Certified Surgical Technologist credential required

BLS certification required

License required if applicable

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for general and GYN surgical cases

Assist surgical team with instrument handling and sterile field maintenance during procedures

Perform instrument and sponge counts with the circulating nurse

Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment

First-time travelers will be considered

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered

RTO requests must be less than 1 week
