Job Title

Surgical Scrub Technologist – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 5x8s | On-call required (one stay-late per week; one weekend every six weeks)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in General and GYN surgical procedures in the operating room
• Prepare and organize the sterile field, instruments, and supplies prior to procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies during operative cases
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one stay-late shift per week and one weekend on-call every six weeks

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required — certification must be in hand at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of experience in General and GYN scrub surgery
• Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel contract experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties beyond General and GYN
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and surgical teams
