Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2

Role Overview We are seeking an Environmental Services Operation Manager 2 for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth , located in Plymouth, Massachusetts . This 200‑bed facility has 56 full‑time staff. The manager is responsible for overseeing the environmental services, patient transport and linen departments, reporting to the General Manager. It is a day‑shift position with approximate hours 7 AM‑4 PM; weekend and holiday rotation is required. What You’ll Do Drive client and patient satisfaction scores. Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff, working closely with the Infection Control department. Collaborate with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director. Effectively manage the Unit Operating System. Support a diverse and inclusive workforce. What You Bring Experience leading and managing a team; a leader who develops and motivates staff to exceed client and customer expectations in service and the technical execution of a healthcare housekeeping system. Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates. Ability to analyze data, present, and communicate effectively to all levels within the organization, including training, leading hospital committees, and change management. Experience effectively managing projects within agreed‑upon timelines. Results‑ and safety‑driven orientation. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience: 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services.
