DESCRIPTION
Join our collaborative team as a Purchasing Manager and make a meaningful impact on global healthcare, scientific research, and environmental protection. You'll guide strategic procurement and global supply chain initiatives while developing and supporting a skilled team responsible for ensuring uninterrupted supply of critical materials. Working closely with internal partners and suppliers, you'll optimize inventory levels, achieve cost savings, play an integral part in new product introductions and implement effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic decisions while maintaining the balance between product availability and inventory optimization.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in procurement/sourcing/supply chain in global distribution or manufacturing environment Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field APICS, CPSM or equivalent professional certification preferred 3-5 years of people management experience leading procurement teams Proven expertise in ERP systems (E1 preferred) and MRP processes Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings and process improvements Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies #J-18808-Ljbffr ThermoFisher ScientificVacancy posted 4 days ago
