Quality InspectorQuality Inspectors perform a variety of tasks at Wabash that vary from location to location.Below are examples of the type of duties you could be responsible for:Audit and inspect various processes, parts, assemblies, and finished bodies using established Quality Assurance proceduresMove vehicles as required for water test, lift gates, paint, decal, or final repairs, as required, prior to dispatchDefects and date entry to the computerQualifications:Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screenBasic reading, writing, & verbal skillsBasic computer skillsExperience and education are a plus; however, it's not required. Wabash provides training for all quality positions. An employee in this position works in an environment in which safety, environmental, and health concerns may demand constant attention. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, as well as moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites where the noise level can be very loud with high temperatures at times. The employee needs full range of motion in arms and hands, all Quality Inspectors must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. Some Quality Inspectors also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
