People Placers is excited to share an opportunity for early career or experienced obstetrician & gynecology physician for a confidential women's medical practice with several locations they are seeking to hire for as they are expanding white rapidly with an influx of new clients weekly.

Schedule: Flexible, choice between full-time clinical hours or could locum tenens, per diem or contract-based

Location: Effingham, IL (Central Illinois)

Compensation: $300 k - $550k (commensurate with experience and level of skill the canidate brings.

Status: W2 (Employment) or 1099 (Contract) Options Available ( as per the schedule requirement)

This facility in Effingham, IL is a urgently seeking qualified, Board Certified OBGYN's and will pay top-dollar as they have been getting an influx of new patients and don't have the staff to cover the work load. They have established a system where you as the MD/OB can focus specifically on your patients and your work, removing all of the administrative burden and paperwork that typical OBGYN roles require. It bears repeating... this role is designed for the physician who wants to focus purely on patient care and surgical delivery, leaving the administrative burden of daily clinic hours behind.

We are looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join our Central Illinois

• Flexibility & Freedom: With rates starting at $3,500+ per 24-hour shift, you can earn a full month’s salary in just a handful of shifts. We are open to negotiation for experienced providers. You control your calendar.
• Choose from options like:
• Two weekends per month (Friday–Sunday).
• A block of six 24-hour shifts per month.
• Custom seasonal scheduling to fit your lifestyle.
• Call-Only Focus: Forget about the clinic. Your focus is strictly on obstetric and gynecological call coverage.
• All-Inclusive Logistics: We handle the "boring stuff." Your travel expenses are fully covered, and medical malpractice insurance is included.
• Professional Support: Work in a high-functioning facility featuring a Level II NICU , surgical robotics, and dedicated block OR time. You’ll be backed by a seasoned team of nursing, anesthesia, and administrative pros who actually have your back.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be the clinical lead for OB/GYN emergencies and deliveries during your shifts. Because this is a supportive, team-based environment in a Level II facility, you can practice medicine the way it was intended—focusing on the patient in the moment, supported by modern technology and a collaborative staff.

Job Requirements:

• An advanced degree as medical doctor or obstrectian doctor degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification (or residence Eligibility) in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• A valid Illinois medical license (or the ability to obtain one before start date ).
• Clinical Expertise: At least 1 year of post-residency experience with a strong proficiency in:
• Maternal-Fetal Care : Confident management of high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
• Surgical Skill: Experience in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and operative deliveries.
• Clinical Advisory: A deep understanding of fertility consultation and a commitment to birthing best practice advisory.
• Capability of performing well in a a fast-paced clinical environment where you can maximize your impact and patient care during shifts.
