Literacy Consultant (K-12)

Ideal Instruction is dedicated to growing teachers and leaders across K-12 spaces and showcasing their talent. Our methodology combines professional learning, job-embedded coaching, and videography. By focusing on instructional improvement, we aim to boost academic success and outcomes for the teachers and students we serve. Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a K-12 ELA Consultant at Ideal Instruction. The ELA Consultant will be responsible for providing job-embedded coaching across K-12 campuses in NYC. The majority of the work is during school hours on campuses with some flexibility to work on projects remotely. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified ELA teacher in a K-12 setting. A minimum of 3 years of instructional coaching experience. A demonstrated track record of improving student data in ELA. Experience developing and delivering PD for a K-12 setting in ELA. A passion for start-up companies and a desire to help promote growth.
