Accounting Manager, Family Office (Plano), 120K-125K

LHH is looking to fill an Accounting Manager with a well-established Family Office in Plano. This role will oversee the accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury activities while partnering closely with executive leadership and the family office. The position offers the opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes while helping strengthen reporting, controls, and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA license or active pursuit of CPA licensure are required. Responsibilities Prepare monthly corporate financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations, income statement variance analysis, general ledger reviews, and journal entries. Lead annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, coordinating with corporate departments and preparing supporting schedules and executive reporting. Prepare monthly executive financial reports and provide clear explanations of financial results and variances. Support tax-related activities, including sales tax calculations, annual tax packages, and general partner reporting. Manage corporate treasury activities, including day-to-day banking, cash balances, bank account administration, banking controls, and related documentation. Prepare monthly equity requests and coordinate financial activities with the family office. Review and process commissions, benefits, allocated costs, and other corporate expenses. Maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting, reporting, and treasury processes. Handle confidential and proprietary financial information with a high level of discretion and professionalism. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA license or currently pursuing/sitting for CPA licensure required. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience. Public Accounting experience is highly desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
