Exciting contract opportunities are available for two Speech-Language Pathologists to support thriving elementary and intermediate schools near Valparaiso, IN. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Indiana SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
• Expertise supporting a diverse student caseload with speech and language needs
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, related service providers, and families
• SLPA credentials are not being considered at this time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations in accordance with IDEA guidelines
• Develop and implement IEP goals and targeted interventions for assigned caseloads ranging from 70–100 students
• Collaborate with school teams and families to promote student engagement and academic progress
• Document services, track student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Engage in flexible scheduling within a 7-hour workday (with a 30-minute lunch)
• Assignments may include:
  • Fegley Intermediate & Crisman Elementary with ~100 students (SLA support negotiable)
  • Option of either Porter Lakes Elementary (preschool–1st grade) or a split site role serving grades 2–8 across two nearby buildings (with potential SLA support)
