Step into a pivotal role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing impactful maternity leave coverage for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to work across two campuses—Liberty Elementary and Liberty Intermediate/Middle School—conveniently located near one another, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 90 students in grades K–8. Your expertise will directly benefit students' communication abilities, enriching their academic and social experiences.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure and certification as an SLP, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and ARD/IEP meeting participation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and independently manage a multi-building caseload
Role Highlights:
- Deliver assessments, therapy, and interventions to K–8 students across Liberty Elementary and Intermediate/Middle Schools
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans supporting speech, language, social communication, and literacy skills
- Provide consultative support to teachers and families, equipping them with strategies to enhance student outcomes
- Manage documentation and data tracking for caseload, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
- Enjoy flexibility to create your own 7-hour daily schedule (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), efficiently balancing time between both convenient campuses
This short-term assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through the first week of November 2026, making it ideal for clinicians seeking a meaningful, time-bound opportunity to make a difference.
