Responsibilities As a Receiver, a typical day might include the following: Receiving, storing, dating and rotating all items that enter the loading dock Assisting in organization of all food and dry goods Ensuring all sanitary and safety procedures for all storage areas are followed in accordance with OSHA and Health Department standards Maintaining storage areas in an organized, accessible, user‑friendly manner Performing weekly “on hand inventories” and ensuring all necessary products are at proper levels to support business trends Assisting with identifying and returning sub‑par, damaged or incorrect product to obtain associated credit Other duties as assigned Qualifications This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications: 1 year general maintenance experience is required Must have general reading and math skills Must be able to read and understand invoices accurately You are passionate about the hospitality industry You present a neat and professional appearance You are able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co‑workers You are able to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
