Responsibilities

As a Quality Inspector, you will act as an impartial third party, using keen observational skills to verify product compliance and prevent defects. This role is vital for safeguarding our brand reputation and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Inspection & Verification: Interpret engineering blueprints, source control drawings, and OEM part verification.
• Compliance: Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) on all detail parts per AS9102 .
• Testing: Select articles for testing at specified stages for dimensions, performance, and mechanical/electrical/chemical characteristics.
• Documentation: Review supplier documentation and use basic precision measurement tools to determine part conformity.
• Data Management: Use Syteline ERP software to process transactions and record test data using statistical quality control procedures.
• Inventory & Logistics: Package and label parts for inventory; scan paperwork for traceability and historical review.
• Problem Solving: Maintain the "parts on hold" area, work with the Supply Chain to resolve documentation issues, and collaborate with Engineering to resolve nonconforming items.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 35lbs
• standing for 7 hours at one time
