Opportunity: Physician - Infectious Disease Job Details: Provide inpatient consultations at a major medical center Manage outpatient office visits including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program Assist with infection control activities and hospital epidemiology programs Collaborate system-wide with over 20 Infectious Disease physician colleagues Provide post-graduate medical education for residents and medical students Appointment at the Assistant Professor level at a local university No primary care responsibilities Active Hospitalist program in place to support inpatient care Shared call with other Infectious Disease physicians Reports to the Division Director of Infectious Disease BC/BE Infectious Disease physician; must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut Compensation: Employed salary with benefits.
