Hospice Registered Nurse

RN HospiceRatios: 1:6 Shift: 12 hour shifts 8:00am – 8:30pm (assumes a half hour lunch break). Each will also pick up 12 hour shifts during the weekday to get a full 36 hours for the work week. They can pick up an extra 8 hours during the weekday, but the total worked for any given the work week must be at least 36 hours and can be no more than 44 hours. See example below (the weekday 12s we are flexible on which weekdays and will discuss with candidates at interview).Years of Experience REQ: 1 year First-timers Accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: Will see patients that need an On-Call visit, if anyone is on General Inpatient (GIP)- daily visits.Certs REQ: BLS from AHA or ARC, Level One Fingerprint Clearance card through DPS AZ, AZ Food Handlers Certification License: AZ state or compact RN license, and valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record Is on-call REQ? Yes- On call will be 2 people on call, 1 main call and the other as back up. It will be divided among the Agency and Team Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? The RNs will see patients in the home, our Hospice House and GIP settings.
