Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Buford, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, entry requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records. Control inbound and outbound traffic at gates and designated access areas, following established procedures for commercial vehicles, trailers, and deliveries. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public service agencies when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
