Abbott seeks an Operator I for cardiac rhythm device manufacturing in Sylmar, California. The role involves performing assembly operations, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives under direct supervision in a regulated production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes
• Ensure job documentation for cell operations is accurate and current
• Maintain records for traceability and quality issue resolution
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance processes
• Follow safety guidelines and perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Requirements

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
• Proficiency with electronic data collection systems and computer software
• Capability to handle and manipulate small components and parts
• Ability to make critical decisions with minimal supervision
• Skill in prioritizing work based on sequencing and importance
• Six months experience in medical or regulated production environments preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation: $15.05–$30.05/hour
