Join an accomplished IT Service Operations team responsible for supporting and enhancing an enterprise-wide ServiceNow platform. The team works across service management, infrastructure operations, employee workflows, asset management, identity automation, and emerging AI capabilities. Rather than separating developers by module, the group collaborates across the full platform landscape and supports a wide range of internal delivery teams and business partners.

• Hybrid schedule requiring four days per week in the Charlotte-area office.
• Broad exposure to ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Hardware Asset Management, Employee Center, identity workflows, integrations, and custom applications.
• Opportunity to contribute to ServiceNow AI initiatives, including Now Assist and AI-enabled IT service capabilities.
• Hands-on role with approximately 90% of the work focused on development.
• Collaborative team environment with meaningful ownership and direct interaction with HR, identity management, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Develop ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, integrations, scripts, and automation solutions across the enterprise platform.
• Build and maintain solutions using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
• Create and support integrations between ServiceNow and third-party platforms through REST APIs, custom spokes, connectors, webhooks, and related technologies.
• Support multiple ServiceNow areas, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Hardware Asset Management, Employee Center, and custom applications.
• Help rearchitect onboarding and offboarding processes currently managed through ServiceNow.
• Partner with HR and identity management teams to improve identity lifecycle workflows, group management, provisioning, and deprovisioning processes.
• Troubleshoot complex workflow, scripting, integration, and platform issues.
• Evaluate when ServiceNow’s standard functionality meets a requirement and when thoughtful customization is necessary.
• Contribute to Now Assist, AI-enabled service delivery, and other emerging ServiceNow capabilities.
• Research incomplete requirements, ask productive questions, and take ownership of delivering complete solutions.
• Shift effectively between priorities while supporting multiple internal delivery teams and business partners.

Are you an experienced ServiceNow developer ready to make an impact?

• Two or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with three to five years strongly preferred.
• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer.
• Experience creating Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
• Knowledge of Integration Hub and REST API integrations.
• Experience developing catalog items, workflows, integrations, or scoped applications.
• Ability to support multiple ServiceNow modules rather than working within only one specialized area.
• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Hardware Asset Management, or Employee Center.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to research unfamiliar issues and move work forward with incomplete initial requirements.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and personal ownership.
• Willingness to work onsite four days per week.
• Genuine interest in a contract-to-hire opportunity.
• PowerShell experience is preferred.
• Identity lifecycle, onboarding, offboarding, or access automation experience is preferred.
• Now Assist or other ServiceNow AI experience is highly desirable.
• ServiceNow certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Field Service Management or Workplace Service Delivery is a plus.
