ServiceNow Platform Administrator

This position will serve as a transitional role. Initially, the primary responsibility will be managing and fulfilling administrative requests related to access and group management within the ServiceNow platform. The role will also provide Level 3 support for simple ServiceNow incident tickets assigned to our team. In addition, this position will help design and implement automated solutions for the current manual access and group management processes, transitioning those requests into the ServiceNow request catalog.

This position supports the ServiceNow Platform Health Program and combines:

• Operational administration
• Platform engineering
• Process improvement
• Automation initiatives

Initial responsibilities include:

• Fulfill ServiceNow-related administrative requests currently tracked in Jira.
• Examples:
• Non-production access requests
• Group creation
• Entitlement updates
• Other platform administration activities

As manual work is automated, the role will transition toward:

• ServiceNow automation development
• Request Catalog enhancements
• Platform integrations
• Monitoring and observability tool integration
• Dashboards and reporting
• ServiceNow Spaces enhancements
• Portal development
• Platform engineering activities:
• Plugin implementations
• Test automation
• Code reviews
• Patching and upgrades

Required certifications:

• CSA (Certified System Administrator)

• Broad ServiceNow platform knowledge preferred over specific module expertise.
• Experience with:
• Platform architecture
• ServiceNow support processes
• ServiceNow vendor interaction (Now Support / Now Impact)
• JavaScript and core development skills

Nice-to-have experience:

• AI/automation interest or exposure
• Identity & Access Management integrations
• SailPoint integration experience
• Monitoring and platform health initiatives
