This is an exciting opportunity for an Epic-certified analyst who is passionate about leveraging technology to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and user experience.The EPIC Application Analyst will play a key role in system design, optimization, testing, implementation, go-live support, and ongoing maintenance of Epic applications related to patient access, admissions, transfers, discharges, transport, and EVS workflows.ScheduleFull-TimeMonday – Friday9:00 AM – 5:00 PMCompensationSalary Range: $91,002 – $136,492 annuallyCompensation based on experience, certifications, and internal equityPosition OverviewThe EPIC Application Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Epic ADT and Prelude applications. This individual will collaborate closely with operational leaders, IT teams, and end users to improve workflows, troubleshoot issues, optimize system functionality, and support strategic initiatives.This is not a training-level role. Candidates must have hands-on Epic build and support experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide build, testing, implementation, and support expertise for Epic ADT and Prelude applicationsSupport workflows related to patient access, patient movement, transport, EVS, and facility structureCollaborate with operational teams and IT staff on requirements gathering, design, testing, and system enhancementsExecute system changes following IT change management processesCreate test plans, document testing outcomes, and support production migrationsAnalyze workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and improvementParticipate in governance meetings to present and prioritize enhancement opportunitiesProvide go-live support for implementations and upgradesTroubleshoot and resolve reported issues in a timely and professional mannerCoordinate vendor activities, integrations, and software or hardware implementationsCreate and maintain workflow documentation and user support materialsDevelop reports and dashboards as requestedSupport downtime procedures, disaster recovery planning, and security-related initiativesRequired ExperienceMust have been Epic OpTime certified for at least 3 years with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on OpTime build experience.Minimum 3 years of Epic OpTime certification and 3 years of Epic OpTime build experience required.Candidates must possess at least 3 years of Epic OpTime certification along with 3 years of direct build experience.Required: 3+ years of Epic OpTime certification and hands-on build/support experience.Epic OpTime certification required with a minimum of 3 years of build experience in OpTime.Must have 3+ years of experience supporting and building within Epic OpTime following certification.CertificationsEpic ADT Certification requiredEpic Prelude Certification strongly preferredEducationBachelor's Degree preferredAdditional Preferred ExperienceRelated healthcare, clinical, or business operations experience preferredCore CompetenciesPassion for improving healthcare through technologyStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent organizational and project management skillsHigh attention to detail and integrity with confidential informationStrong customer service orientation and stress toleranceAdditional RequirementsMust have reliable transportation for travel to off-site locations as neededAbility to remain stationary for extended periods during the workdayIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a highly motivated Epic-certified analyst with strong ADT and Prelude build experience who enjoys solving complex workflow challenges and partnering with operational teams to improve healthcare technology systems and patient access processes.
