Job Description:

• This position works beside key members of the Payroll Team supporting a short-term process improvement project.
• The Payroll Analyst will be required to have a functional knowledge of payroll and time and a working knowledge of Workday, Global View and ADP enterprise eTime systems.

Scope of Role:

• Augment payroll analysis process, eliminating defects and improving business processes, quality, and compliance;
• Recommend improvements to eliminate payroll process deficiencies and provide alternate solutions;
• Analyze current payroll processes and recommend improvement opportunities to streamline the overall process;
• Analyze historical payroll deficiency data and categorize the data by topic (i.e. system deficiency, process deficiency or data deficiency) and provide solution to minimize the deficiencies;
• Assist in analyzing current payroll schedule and timelines and recommend payroll schedule adjustments to meet deadlines; and
• Review current payroll simulations schedule and provide recommendations to run single vs. many system integrations and payroll simulations.

Additional Skills

• Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Time, and business operations
• Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision
• Proficient skills using MS Excel
• Extremely detail-orientated and accurate

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to understand functional needs of the business and effectively communicate them
• Experience with 3rd party Time and Labor system such as ADP Enterprise eTime or Kronos supporting more than 1,000 associates
• Required: Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel and Word.
• Workday experience preferred
