School Social Worker High School - anticipated

The Litchfield School District is seeking applicants for a full time social worker at our high school which serves grades 9-12. The High School Social Worker provides social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health support to students to promote academic success, attendance, positive school engagement, and overall well-being. The Social Worker collaborates with students, families, staff, and community agencies to address barriers to learning and help students achieve their educational goals

Start Date: For the start of the 2026-2027 School Year. Start date August 24, 2026.

Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited institution. Current New Hampshire licensure/certification as a School Social Worker or eligibility for certification. Experience working with adolescents in educational, clinical, or community settings preferred. Knowledge of special education regulations, crisis intervention, trauma-informed practices, and community resources. Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners
