General ManagerCurrently seeking General Manager to oversee the operations of a processing facility for a local company with over 25 years of servicing the Baton Rouge area. This role will be responsible for the management of company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and maintaining oversight of all staff and training. This is a direct-hire position with a starting salary of $90,000 and an extensive benefits package including medical insurance, paid-time off, 401k with Match, and a car and phone allowance.Position Responsibilities:Oversee management for the areas of receiving, processing, and deliveryDevelop and train staff to ensure proper processing of a quality productManage expenses and budgeting tasks including forecastingControl labor, delivery, energy, and chemical costs while developing an efficient workforceCoordinate the installation and operation of new equipment and the maintenance of current equipmentOversee regulatory compliance and maintain plant safety for all employees and visitorsProduce weekly reports for inflow and outflow of productInteract with customers, creating an open line of communication to ensure order accuracyPrevious Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent work experienceMinimum 10 years of operations/management experience in operations or manufacturing environmentProficiency with Microsoft OfficeEffective written and verbal communication skillsExhibit initiative, responsibility, leadership, accountability, and ability to multi-taskSecure your future today!
