Inbound Call Center Representative/Patient Access Representative IHourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Sign on bonus: N/APosition: Inbound Call Center Representative/Patient Access Representative ILocation: Skokie, ILOnsite for the first 6 to 9 months. Option for remote work after 6 to 9 months upon completion of a successful training periodFull Time: Hours: Monday-Friday: Between 7:45 AM- 5:45 PMHalf day Saturday: 9:00-1:15 PMWhat You Will Do:Handle patients requests, over the phone, for multiple Medical Offices/Hospital departments while applying correct workflows and protocolsSimultaneously collect information from patients and enter data into our electronic health record system (called EPIC)Schedule appointments, procedures, and events at our NorthShore locationsRegister and verify insurance eligibility, informing the patients of their financial responsibilityPromote key initiatives for Patient Access Center and NorthShore (i.e. online services)Adhere to privacy (HIPAA) guidelines when speaking with patients and familiesRoute calls to correct administrative and clinical departments after assessing patients' needsSupports departmental changes, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast paced, changing environmentWhat You Will Need:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Associates or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)Experience: One year of customer service experience (required). Inbound call center experience (required). Healthcare experience (preferred).
