Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Trauma/Ortho/Med-Surg unit with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including IV pumps, wound vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo pumps, chest tubes, telemetry monitors, PCA pumps, BiPAPs, and epidurals
• Perform wound vac changes, wound care, IV insertions, and insertion of indwelling Foley catheters
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries
• Float to designated units (6A, 3A, 3 South, 4 South) as needed based on census
• Adhere to unit dress code: ceil blue scrubs; no sweatshirts or crocs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• ACLS certification required prior to submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience
• Strong critical thinking and team collaboration skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated prioritization skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Strong time management skills with ability to manage a high patient load efficiently
• Experience with telemetry monitoring
