Position Overview

Reliance Aerospace Assets is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate – Aerospace Parts to support the receiving, inspection, storage, inventory management, and shipment of aircraft parts and components.

The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience within the aerospace or aviation industry and understand the importance of accurate documentation, part traceability, proper handling, and quality control when working with aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, and properly store aircraft parts and components.
• Pick, pack, and prepare aviation parts for domestic and international shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper part identification and traceability.
• Verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, tags, documentation, and condition against purchase orders and shipping paperwork.
• Handle aircraft engine parts and other aviation components in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Properly label, package, and protect parts to prevent damage during storage and transportation.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Follow company quality procedures and applicable FAA, ASA-100, and aviation-industry requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as applicable.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing inspections and documentation.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably within aerospace, aviation, MRO, aircraft parts, or a related industry.
• Experience handling aircraft parts, engine components, or aviation inventory strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of aircraft part numbers, serial numbers, traceability, and aviation documentation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to safely lift and move warehouse materials and parts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and inventory-management skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Aerospace Experience

Candidates with experience working for an aircraft parts distributor, MRO, airline, aircraft teardown facility, OEM, aviation supplier, or aerospace manufacturing company are strongly preferred.

Experience with FAA-regulated environments, ASA-100 quality systems, aircraft engine components, inventory traceability, and aviation shipping documentation is highly valued.
