See more about our benefits and why DG is a great place to work below.We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of our inventory and material management processes. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, processing transactions within our ERP system, organizing materials, and ensuring production teams have the parts and supplies they need to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both computers and physical inventory, enjoys staying organized, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records. While primarily focused on stockroom operations, this position will also provide support to the Shipping & Receiving department as business needs require. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to contribute wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:Accurately enter inventory and receiving data into the ERP systemConfirm incoming shipments and print necessary documents (labels, packing slips, etc.)Assist in checking and receiving incoming parts and materialsDeliver items to proper locations and help organize the stockroomPerform inventory transactions such as issuing, returning, or fulfilling backordersConduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and reconciliationAssemble kits for production and ensure lot number traceabilitySupport packing, labeling, and shipping customer ordersMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFloat between departments and support daily operational needs as directedFollow all DG safety procedures and policies per the Facility Engineer/Safety DirectorPerform additional tasks as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1–2 years of inventory, stockroom, or receiving experience preferredStrong computer skills required (ERP or inventory systems experience is a plus)Familiarity with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation strongly preferredComfortable with basic math and data entryMust be detail-oriented, organized, and adaptableAble to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet as neededStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications (Not Required):Bilingual in English and SpanishWhy You'll Love Working Here:We are a multi-generational team with members representing a diversity of cultures, educational backgrounds, experience levels and ideas all 'making it happen' from one location in beautiful, coastal South Florida.
