Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team in Duluth, GA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment for children with speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing needs. The ideal candidate will use evidence-based interventions to help pediatric patients improve communication, functional participation, and independence at the clinic while collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary care teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess pediatric patients' speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing needs using appropriate clinical assessment tools.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals based on each child's developmental, communication, and functional needs.
- Provide direct therapy for articulation, phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and social/pragmatic communication.
- Address feeding, swallowing, and AAC needs within the clinician's education, training, and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and EHR records, while following safety, infection-control, and professional standards.
Qualification/Experience Required:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
- Experience treating articulation, phonological, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social/pragmatic communication disorders preferred.
- Experience or specialized interest in AAC, pediatric feeding/swallowing, early intervention, and developmental delays is a plus.
- New graduates are also accepted.
License/Certifications Required:
- Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain Georgia licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
