VCF Network and Security - Loadbalacing SME
VBeyond
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Load Balancing within VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing NSX-T load balancing solutions across enterprise-grade hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in NSX-T Data Center , L4-L7 services , and application delivery architecture , combined with strong networking and security fundamentals.
Architecture & Design
- Design and implement NSX-T Load Balancer (LBaaS) solutions in VCF environments
- Architect Layer 4 / Layer 7 load balancing for enterprise applications
- Define high availability (HA) and scalability strategies
- Integrate load balancing with micro-segmentation and security policies
- Configure and manage:
- Virtual Servers
- Pools & Pool Members
- Health Monitors
- SSL termination
- Work with Tier-0 / Tier-1 gateways and routing (BGP, static routing)
- Troubleshoot traffic flow, latency, and failover scenarios
Core Must-Have
- Strong hands-on with VMware NSX-T Load Balancer (LBaaS)
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- Deep understanding of:
- L4/L7 load balancing
- TCP/IP,
- DNS, NAT
- Networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, VLANs
