Job Description
This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical and mechanical assemblies while following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions.
• Perform wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and connector installation.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, calipers, heat guns, and other specialized assembly equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform inspections and verify product quality throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain compliance with IPC and J-STD workmanship standards.
• Document production activities, labor tracking, and assembly completion within company systems.
• Identify and report quality concerns, material shortages, and discrepancies in work instructions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Meet daily production schedules, quality requirements, and efficiency goals.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
