Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend and holiday rotation | Projected Start: September 21, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Perform IV starts, nasogastric tube placement, wound care, and lab draws
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry patients
• Operate unit equipment including wound vacs, heparin drips, IV pumps, feeding pumps, glucometers, bladder scanners, and suction devices
• Document patient care using the Editech documentation system
• Float between assigned units as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Tennessee
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Ability to adhere to dress code: navy scrubs (no fleece or sweatshirts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation at an advanced level
• Familiarity with Editech or similar electronic documentation systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
