Job Description Schedule: Full time\n Availability: Morning, Afternoon, Evening (Includes Weekends). \n Age Requirement: 18 years or older\n Location: Ashland, VA\n Address: 9300 Sliding Hill Road\n Pay: $20.50 - $22.50 / hour\n Job Posting: 09/04/2026\n Job Posting End: 10/04/2026\n Job ID: R0294373\n \n EARN A BONUS UP TO $500! \n As a warehouse selector on our distribution team, you’ll help deliver exceptional service by accurately and efficiently selecting products for Wegmans stores, using your attention to detail and teamwork skills to ensure success. \n \n Work schedule: Overnight positions consist of four 10-hour shifts per week \n \n What You'll Do \n \n Ensure pallets of product are built safely and efficiently in a manner that minimizes product damage in transportation and maximizes trailer space \n Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties; this may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect \n Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality \n Maintain knowledge of all quality standards/specifications and requirements for all products \n Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports as well as other forms of necessary communication \n Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements \n May work in and have exposure to cold temperatures; lift weight of 20-25 pounds on average with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently \n \n \n Preferred Experience \n \n Previous experience with operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect \n \n \n Note : Frozen positions earn an extra $2.00 /hour \n \n The health and safety of our employees is our top priority, and we are committed to keeping you safe while you help to serve our communities! \n \n Multiple on-campus employee safety committees encouraging a culture of safety and well-being \n Comprehensive safety training for new employees, delivered by dedicated professional trainers, as well as on-going continuous safety training throughout the year \n Free Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) \n \n \n \n At Wegmans, we’ve always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
