Technical Analyst – Service Delivery - Erlanger, KYThis is an Exempt level position.Position Summary:The Service Delivery Organization is committed to business technology support, service management, risk management, and relationship management in support of all applications and infrastructure towers. As a member of the Service Delivery Organization, the Technical Analyst will work closely with the Service Delivery Leader, Systems Analysts, Business Users, and Application and Infrastructure support teams to develop, document and deliver process and systems solutions which enable ADM's strategy. This role will be focused on the North American IBM Mainframe, serving as a technical expert to support Financial, Sales and Inventory systems.Job Responsibilities:Designing, developing, testing and deploying new system enhancements and maintaining existing system functionalityProvide technical design assistance and review of small or medium enhancements and projectsPerform code review and approval to enforce coding standards across applicationsWrite detailed technical designs for business requests, partnering with business and GT teams as neededPerform technical assessment of 3rd party solutionsProvide technical expertise and support for merger and acquisition efforts.Provide regular and accurate status updates and other documentation to management and team members for assigned workJob Requirements:Minimum 5 years programming experience with demonstrated increase in responsibilitiesProficient with COBOL in mainframe environmentDatabase experience with IMS/DB, DB2 and VSAMSignificant CICS experienceExtensive MVS JCL experienceIMS DC, QUIKJOB, MQ experience a plusFinancial, Sales and/or Inventory systems experience highlight desiredExhibits ability to work both in a geographically diverse team environment and independentlyAbility to maintain confidentialityStrong analytical, organization, time management, facilitation, and process management skillsDemonstrated high level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate technical and non-technical information, ideas, procedures and processes.Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and with all levels of the organization and cope with rapidly changing informationAbility to evaluate and negotiate priorities and adapt to new/evolving individual and team assignments as adjustments are neededMaintains a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolutionStrong problem resolution, judgement and decision making skillsBachelor's degree related to Information Systems, Business or other relevant academic discipline with a minimum 4 years job experience in IT or process area(s) preferredExcited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed?
