1.0 **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent **Position Summary:** This position reports to the IT Director and collaborates with the other technicians and student workers to provide, maintain, and support instruction and research services for faculty, staff, and students within the school. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies:** Technical Management/supervisory skills. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills (hardware, OS, networking, and application). Experience with enterprise clustered and virtual hosting environments. Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools Data center experience including the installation, management, and support of storage devices and physical servers. Working knowledge of security standards and best practices. Working knowledge of automated configuration management (PowerShell) Knowledge of database development and management concepts. Experience with L2/L3 networking (Routing, VLAN Management, load balancing, firewalls. Familiarity with scripting and tools (PERL, BASH, Python, etc.). Familiarity with the creation and use of software package management and versioning tools (YUM/RPM, Aptitude, Git). Familiarity with 3rd party cloud hosting and services (AWS, GCS, or Azure).
