Manufacturing company is looking for a Jr. Quality Engineer to join there team. The right candidate will be responsible for the following:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer to support quality systems, manufacturing operations, and product compliance. This entry-level position works closely with Quality, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, customers, and suppliers to investigate quality issues, maintain documentation, support audits, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance with applicable quality standards.
• Support product inspections, First Article Inspections (FAI), and manufacturing quality activities.
• Assist with nonconformance reports (NCRs), Material Review Board (MRB) activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support calibration programs, audits, and quality documentation.
• Help investigate product and process issues using problem-solving tools such as 5-Why and 8D.
• Assist with quality planning tools, including FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, and PPAP.
• Support customer and supplier quality inquiries and external audits.
• Identify quality concerns, track corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent education or experience may be considered.
• Entry-level candidates or candidates with 1–3 years of manufacturing, inspection, quality, or engineering support experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing quality principles and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or First Article Inspection is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in both office and manufacturing environments.

Work Environment: Approximately 75% office and 25% production floor. Light lifting, overtime, and occasional travel may be required.
